I've read a couple of posts on the forum about speaker upgrades but have some more questions - hoping to get some direction from the forum. I recently had the dension 500 installed for those longer drives. The dension has really brought the sound quality up. The down is I have to adjust the treble to as low as it can go. Some of you have upgraded the dash to the focal fp100. I've looked around and can't seem to find the speaker for sale anywhere online. I'm in Canada so it tends to take an extra 10 years for anything good to become available locally. The other question I had was around the install. As anyone installed them without the huge crossover and just used a cap for saving of space? I really need to do something to tone down the highs in this car. thx Chris ps - i know the engine sounds better than any music

I have to imagine you are running a stock head unit (radio/cd player). Might try an after market that has everything like phone, bluetooth, acc, USB, xm radio and DVD movies or what ever else. Pioneer has good stuff. Only 400 or so for all the above.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
