Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

30 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The opposite of Debadged.... wow.. http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/1706763879.html

POST 2Original post

How much of a dog must that car be? Big heavy rims and an automatic transmission?!? Plus they spent all of that money on the exterior yet the interior looks like crap.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

He REALLY wants you to know it's a Porsche! Lets all email him and ask if thats a VW or an Audi

POST 4Original post

"yes, hello, I'm calling about that VW you have for sale on craigslist...(long pause)"

POST 6Original post

what type of car is it? wicked cool headlights holy crap... ya gotta give him credit for not hiding anything in the ad.... took a FEW pics ehhh?

POST 8Original post

more importantly, is that an extra key hole BEHIND the drivers door?

POST 9Original post

Hehe, maybe that's there to arm the self destruct?

POST 10Original post

944s had an extra (and different) key for the alarm starting with the 86 turbo, it was later integrated to the door locks. That poor car...

POST 11Original post

crazy, ive never seen that before. was it a rare option?

POST 12Original post

Like he said, it is one of a kind. He does keep a dash mat to protect the interior, but it's probably too late for that.

POST 13Original post

factory alarm - ya have to open the door a little to turn it off never seen one drilled into the side of the car.....but its probabaly easier to deal with than this!

POST 14Original post

All those Porsche logos, and he doesn't have colored Porsche logo center caps. Shame on him.

POST 15Original post

Quotes source post: 7509902

thanks for the info i need to get a lit key someday...

POST 16Original post

ha....I had to work on my key to get the light to work. There is a little copper part in there that was pretty oxidized but workd now. It actually is nice in the morning when its dark... the ingnition is a little tough to find and so I actually use the light not because I have to but to keep it working well... the old Porsche "use it is better than store it" thingy ! did ya hear that Phil

POST 17Original post

maybe one to many people said Nice Rx7 to him?

POST 18Original post

Quotes source post: 7509902

my 85.5 944 had it in this location. On the side, not in the door, this is the only other 944 in 20 years I have seen with it in this location.

POST 19Original post

Was that a porsche? Give me 30min and a bottle of paint safe adhesive remover and that car could corrected...and maybe a set of H4 lights.

POST 20Original post

Funny... A bit overboard to say the least. I wonder how many Porsche logo-ed clothes he has?

Did you ever see the friends episode where Joey was polishing some guys porsche and telling every one it was his... then when the guy left he stacked boxes up underneith a Porsche car cover to impress the chics. It was one of the best

POST 22Original post

here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3VxuWT6Dk0

POST 24Original post

Looks like someone has spent a lot of money after getting a JC Whitney catalog. Shark Attact has it right. Probably been complimented on his nice RX 7 to many times.

POST 25Original post

There's a boxster out in the interwebz that's worse....I'm just too lazy to find it.

POST 26Original post

I have the key on the rear fender on my 87 951...it doesn't work so I have an aftermarket alarm. looks like he spray painted the valve cover while on the car (overspray)...just so he could paint the "porsche" script red! in case you didn't notice the outside. this guy probably wears Porsche shoes, pants, shirt, hat, jacket, hip bag etc... remember the episode with Joey on Seinfeld?

POST 27Original post

Turbo twister rims, wow! And only 6,900,000 miles per year (that's what 6900 k works out to be).

POST 28Original post

you'd think that replacing worn interior parts would be the better move with badge money.

Ha! Didn't he mention something about "great/excellent/nice" or something to that effect condition??? Was that interior in great condition? But hey, new paint!!!

POST 30Original post

I'm pretty sure those are door sill covers he slapped on the hood and rear.
