Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
Where not even talking limited numbers like the GT2-3 cars or some other special run car.
Leading evidence: 'Run car' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run car' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Phil, you have been dethroned! This brings a whole new meaning to the term "garage queen." Why the after market suspension, wheels, and exhaust? I just don't get it!

No point in owning a car if you never drive it. Of course, if you have millions of dollars, and own 8 exotic sports cars, maybe you wouldn't drive all of them. Who knows....still wrong!
Yeah, we do. Not a whole lot, but we do drive our cars. My brother puts more miles on his 330GTC than the poster puts on his Porsche! He even drives the Ferrari to shows - no trailering.
It really is Marc. It's an unrestored 1967 330GTC coupe with 16K original miles - even the paint is original. It's quite a car. Nothing like the sound of a V-12.
I love the refrence to the 25 yr old russian wife in the sig...
I wonder if she's a garage queen with no miles.

I collect vintage radio controlled cars and leave them unbuilt in the original box.
I saw some guy with a totally restored AMC Gremlin at the car show.
My best friend has a #1 XMen comic book sealed in an acrylic case that he's never opened.
People do different things with their disposable income that makes them happy and seem whacked to others. Clearly, he's got the money to purchase a vehicle that he'll never drive. I say let him be.
Interesting. I'm on the opposite. I still have almost all of my Tamiya RC cars from Highschool. I use them on occasion when I'm bored. Mine aren't mint and provide way too much fun for me to worry about condition. Besides, Tamiya is starting to reproduce their classic cars now a days. I would think that it diminishes the prices of the originals.
I can see preserving a car if it where genuinely rare (take that incredible Ferrari for instance) but, a standard 911? Where not even talking limited numbers like the GT2-3 cars or some other special run car.
Different strokes I guess,
Yeah, why bother with that one? 40 years from now it won't be some rarity, there'll be thousands of them laying around in good condition that have actually been maintained and driven so that the engine internals haven't long since rotted away.
absolute waste. Not of money (thats his to do with what he pleases), but of a great car. To me, a porsche is not something so stunningly beautiful that it can provide a magical experience just looking at it (as is the case with some older ferraris and such). To me, a Porsche's value is in the driving experience. He has gotten absolutely none of that.
If I were him, I'd just sell the engine and the transmission and nothing about his enjoyment of the car would change.
I have seen this guy at some of the Peachstate PCA events. The car is really nice, as should be expected with only 79 miles, but I have seen the owner pitch a hissy fit when he didn't win the Judge's Choice award at a local PCA concours. IMO it is all a bit much for what is essentially a contest to see who can wash their car the best.
oddly, i knew whose car it was going to be before i even clicked the link. that guy also has a '99 boxster with obscenely low miles. i think it's supercharged w/ suspension mods, etc, but he never drives it!
Easy, guys. [He] put[s] my pants on, just like the rest of [us], one leg at a time. Except, once [his] pants are on, [he] polishes the living daylights out of his car.
If I were him, I'd drive the car up to 100 miles and then leave it dead center on that number. 79 sounds so dirty and unclean. Definitely gets a couple demerits by concours judges.
