Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

figuring out that you can take a 15mph corner at close to 50..... PRICELESS !!
(please feel free to imput your own "priceless" lines, lets try and build some value as opposed to tearing these fine machines down and mearly relating "worth" to an amount you could sell it for)
OK, I may/will get severely chastised on this forum for this, but here it goes:
'89 951 - $9k
Suspension upgrades - $7k
Maintenance - Unlimited $$....
Smoking a stock 996 on the track - Priceless...
Now before you call me out as a troll, I hope to pick up my 996 in a couple weeks.
I aint calling ya a troll.... (bastard) LOL
no doubt a car in the right hands can whip another... I was a course engineer late last summer and a bone stock 4 door 90's Toyota corrolla outdrove a brand spankin new GT2 ALL DAY LONG !! Was faster, hit less cones, and really pushed the car to the limits while the GT2 was a slow cone hitting "timid" driver that never once even hit 3500 RPM from the sound of it....(except to let the clutch out from a dead stop)
Here's mine
Purchase C2 Cab: $35K
Lloyd Mats (first purchase for the car): $110
Listening to the engine note on startup (and realizing it's your car): Priceless...
Rudy

There was a local zenith blue I checked out yesterday but it turned out to be rougher than the one in Rockville. ;-(
I have a couple other leads that I'm working (3 silver cars). I may have to travel to get one, though, which isn't a big deal.
Mine so far:
MK I Aero: 32K
Maintenance: $120 (including oil filter wrench)
Fabspeed exhaust: Free (wedding gift)
04 GT3 Sport seats: 1k
3 spoke steering wheel: ???? Can't remember maybe around 300-400??
Looking at my dream car in my garage, driving and enjoying it- Priceless
Another quick note, it is awfully satisfying to beat a "better" car on the track but at the end of the day, your car didn't beat that car, you beat the other driver. I've had quite a bit of fun going around guys with M3's and M5's in my lowly 323is. Experience level counts for a whole lot in DE's and Autocrosses. There are guys that can take a riding lawnmower and shame folks in very quick cars. J/K (a bit of exaggeration but you get the idea). It is even more satisfying after you get the point by and pulling a solid distance on the guy, especially when your car only puts down 150 hp to the wheels.
One of the fastest things they made in '88. I have a magazine article that says the turbo S was the 4th fastest production car in '88 - after the Ferrari GTO, Testarossa, and the Lamborghini Countach.
While I love my 996 dearly, no one can claim it's one of the fastest cars of '99. Now, a GT2 on the other hand...
2002 996 c4 cab cash purchase ----- $86,500

Smoking dedicated race 911's on the track and still driving it home as a garage queen cabriolet..... PRICELESS !!
My 6 and half year-old wolf in sheep's clothing... Priceless? You bet.
