Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just finished a track weekend using, for the first time in 1 year, my 996 C4 with a brand new x51 engine broken in to 1200 miles. I noticed, when compared to the 997S, that this car is much more softer and exhibits more roll. My question, what type of suspension upgrades can be made to make this car more track friendly while maintaining some descent road civility.

ROW M030 X74 for a C4 (Gert currently has this on sale in a thread on page 1) PSS9 or PSS10

POST 4Original post

go with h&r ARB and trg droplinks.... I would try this first, then move to coilovers if you crave more handling.

POST 5Original post

I think if you want flexibility go with the PSS9, 10. I love my ROW M030, it feels solid but not harsh, but I don't plan to track it. The PSS system is adjustable and will conform to a number of different settings.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

A track friend recommended the GT3 sway bars with coils. Any thoughts on this?

What are your plans for the car? GT3 sways and coilovers may be a good choice also depending on your application. But be careful of the GT3 bar if you are a serious track junky. -td
