Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am seriously entertaining the purchase of the x-74 suspension upgrade. Does anyone have any thoughts on this set up? Please chime in.

POST 2Original post

Russ, read Scott's thread titled Your .02 || PSS10s vs. X73 (C4S) . While the X73 is for a C4S, it does the same thing as X74 on a C2.

I have is a complete X74 kit for sale (for a C2), which includes pre-assembled front and rear struts and springs, front and rear bigger stabilizer bar and stabilizer bar bushings and rear body reinforcement brackets that install along the body and rear taillights. PM me if you are interested.

POST 4Original post

I have the x73 (C4) and love it. Mines a street car, but sees track duty when I'm too lazy to trailer the race car.

POST 5Original post

Many are very happy with both from what my research told me. See if you can find one or both example cars to ride in to help you decide. Also, decide how you will mostly use your Porsche; street; track; mix; adjustability; etc.

POST 7Original post

I just bought the kit from Carnewal this week, they have a really great price, it was cheaper to have it shipped to Canada from Belgium than buying locally. To me it was a better option than PSS9 and GT3 bars. I'll be installing it next week. I'll post my impression of it. 2001 C4

I am ready to pull the trigger; however, I will out of the country for several weeks and won't be around to take delivery. I await your installation and driving impressions with great enthusiasm.

POST 9Original post

Does anyone know the spring and shock rates for x73/x74 setup?
