However, in my case it was the result of an improper installation (missed the OEM parts that should have been scavenged from the stock setup for PSS10s).

Suggestion

I was lucky enough to have Ruff Autocentre in Dallas inspects my car in their recent promotional "Scan & Wash" day and the Porsche Tech did a throughout inspection for leaks, worn parts, etc...using a flash-light.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Honestly, there isn't much wrong with the car, if you discount some coilover suspension noise, so what do I need to get checked? Car has 82K miles. Car has received above and beyond the factory maintainence.

POST 2Original post

I don't think I would discount coil-over noise. Just had mine fixed, and no creaks anymore! The PO was resigned to thinking that the noise comes with coil-overs. However, in my case it was the result of an improper installation (missed the OEM parts that should have been scavenged from the stock setup for PSS10s).

POST 3Original post

Your wallet Joking Check and see if its all dry everywhere, jack it up and look hard at all seams with lots of light. Then just drive as before, Good luck

POST 4Original post

Take your car in for a Full Inspection... I took mine in 2 weeks ago... guess what they found out, One of my $100 Relay was Blown (CPO Warranty)... I would have never found out this, if i didnt take mine in for Inspection... And obviously have your RMS looked at, and your Engine Eletricles... Bacially have them look at all components that are covered under CPO Warranty

POST 5Original post

Some of the more common things would include some of the stuff I've had to replace - air/oil separator, rms, coolant tank... Tonger

POST 6Original post

I was lucky enough to have Ruff Autocentre in Dallas inspects my car in their recent promotional "Scan & Wash" day and the Porsche Tech did a throughout inspection for leaks, worn parts, etc...using a flash-light. He did find a very small oil leak that I would not have discovered if he had not point it out to me. It was under the car in a tight spot. Anyway it's worth to have a Porsche Tech expert check your car out before your CPO runs out, my 2c.
