Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Hi guys,
I am glad to be on Rennlist. I see that this is a well knit family of some true Porsche enthusiasts. I am a new and proud owner of a 996.2 Targa. Looking forward to many interactions with you all.
Cheers!

Thank you all so very much. I agree that it's a rare car and people either love Targas or hate it. I have been searching for one from a long time and I am glad I found a good one.
Yes Dennis, it is midnight blue. It appears black sometimes and looks like a different shade of blue depending on the sunlight and the camera settings, but it is midnight blue.
Thanks guys! Was searching for a good Targa for a long time.
Targa 996 - It's a single owner car in great shape. I did not get the service records from the dealer I bought it from. However, got the complete history by calling the dealer who serviced the car from day 1. I bought the car right after the previous guys warranty expired and i didn't have to do much after buying. I replaced the alternator and the battery which were bad. It's got around 92K miles on it. Spark plugs were not changed at 90K. So, that's on my to do list. The thing that bothers me the most though is the stone chips I get on my front bumper. Am looking at installing paint prrotecting clear bra.
But yeah, I am loving every second I am behind the steering wheel. Also, loving the exterior care. Spent about 6 hours last Sunday detailing, claying, polishing, and waxing. Can't get enough of her
6 hours detailing.... I could never get do that.... 2 hours and I'm done. Glad you are enjoying. Btw, I would not clear bra with the paint chips. Get it sprayed first, then put the clear bra on.
Nice!
Enjoy! My first 911 was a Targa, Guards Red in '83. It was an '80 SC.
Nice pic but I somehow felt something serious was missing. It's like the mountains had been 'shopped out. Then I looked at your location, lol!
Thank u guys.
I didn't think I would bring any changes to her when I bought her. But the ignorant me started paying attention to 996s from my fellow rennlisters. LOL. Wow, was it a bad idea!!!
Now the list seems never ending. Sigh!
