Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I upgraded my suspension to the RoWM030 last year as I was autocrossing. I have been very happy with the upgrade but now that I am getting into DE I want to move forward to lower my center of gravity and possibly get better camber.
In order to achieve those two goals, should I :
- get lowering springs, would that bring any good, if yes, which springs to go with the RoWM030 ?
- upgrade to X74, which by the way I don't see on suncoast site anymore
I want to avoid getting into a gt3 setup, as this will cost me like $3-5k once I add the links, lower control arms, monoball, camber plate and others bits I need to take advantage of the whole setup.
I would not try lowering springs with the ROW components, I have never heard of anyone successfully using that setup.
X74 is the way to go IMHO based on my research. It's the next logical evolutionary step for you from the ROW.
PSS9 or 10 is also an awesome setup if you can afford the extra cost. Tried a 996 with the PSS9 suspension and now think the ROW will not be enough of an upgrade for me.
The PSS9 at a firm setting is very NICE!!!
I think the PSS9 springs are too soft. Better is the H&R RSS clubsport. For camber just get the gt3 lower control arrms - no need for camber plates or monoball. You do need the TPC rear toe links.

I didnt search too long but found a few comments I have made over the years, more in support of your decision and to offer insite to those still on the fence of ROW....
pretty sure its not worth the effort and money to go ROW, sorry you found out this way but at least you are making the move to X73/4
BTW Phil the X series would treat you very well for a very long time on DE's...
reading between the line of your OP I want to caution against too many performance mods before you have moved into the advanced run groups. Even a stock set up will get you really far and saving $ on upgrades affords more driving time and THAT is the key to getting better...not necessarily more mods
just saying...
if I were you, with relatively new ROW...I would just drive the wheels off the car and get as much track time as you can...$3k worth of mods or $3k worth of track fees... the track fees wouold have a much higher rate of return
get a set of GT3 sway bars and a good set of rubber on a set of lighter 18" wheels (will make a pretty big difference)
+1 on ivangene. I have RoWM030 on mine, am in the advanced run group, have GT3 bars and a GT3 alignment (as close as they can get) and I have a ball with the setup. It's perfect for the crappy streets, and really compliant and fun on the track.. Running Toyo R888s with it as well.
I agree with Ivangene as well and I plan to invest into track fees and tires before moving forward with the hardware spending.
The gt3 bars are a good idea guys ! if anyone has a used set for sale
I am taker ! Same for the drop links as I know I will need them sooner or later.
I need two sets, right ? front and back ?
I think you should just buy the
GT3 Cup
now and be done with it. When you find yourself on the slippery slope the best course of action is to get to the bottom as quickly and painlessly as possible
Either way you go you need more negative camber for the track. There's only two solutions for that which is camber plates ($450+) or 2 piece lower control arms ($1000). These things really come alive when you start to get good camber numbers in the front. So no matter what your choice just figure in that you're going to need one of the above solutions (or both depending on how serious you get) for camber otherwise you're going to start destroying the outsides of your front tires in quick order once you really get into DE events.
