Hey guys. Been off the list for a few years. I know this has been done to death. Just need the place I can buy the trim piece to do the climate relo. Not clear to me from the posts. Also, thinking about one of those Pioneer all in one kits to replace the Bose system. Going to have a shop do it. Do I need all kinds of amps, or is a 40w head enough?

I put a Pioneer AVH double din unit in my '02 targa Removed the CD holders and relocted the AC control there - yes it sticks a bit above the bottom console but actually looks OK there - else option is to get an open tray to fit the slot the CD holder came out of - Suncoast had those when I checked. For the double din unit - I think it was euromotorspeed on ebay that sells the kit kits and bezel - it should be quite easy to find. But with '04 model you have MOST fibre bus - and the pioneer unit will not work with the BOSE amp - so the amp needs to be replaced and maybe also the speaker wiring. The forums have some threads on people that did this - but it is not as simple or cheap to do as it is with the non MOST units ....IF you go with an installer - make sure they have experience with upgrading this type of system

You can relocate the AC Controls to the lower storage bin, remove the bin and install the AC unit, you can get the correct trim from your dealer for under 10 bucks. I think the correct part is # 996 552 339 00 01C

Guess the amp will have to be replaced. Anyone know what kind of power I need (I'm 53 and don't listen to rap)
