Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Use a very good wheel cleaning agent (I use Sonax which is expensive but very effective)

Mesh style wheels like these look great on the Porsche...fits the sports car look very well...as for cleaning these types of wheels I've found a few things that help reduce the time to clean/dry:
Leading evidence: 'Use sonax' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Clean /dry' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. Use a combination of large and small wheel cleaning brushes...you need one small enough that can get between the spokes.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

May God bless the guy who invented the five-spoke wheel - they're so easy to clean compared to the Sport Classic IIs and other wheels with busy designs.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So I found a set for sale and am considering to get them. What do you guys think? Will this look good on my Zenith Blue?
These are pics of my boxster (sold and gone) with a set of Sport Classic IIs costum painted in Gray. I just like how they looked...

I'd get those wheels only if you love cleaning tiny crevices and bolts and nooks with brushes and q-tips, and sponges and tiny hands
or if they are painted brake dust color...I mean charcoal, or whatever the "correct" new color name is for shiny brake dust color.
Love the wheels, the clean up, not so much..... Maybe some dustless pads will help, the grey mesh helps well too!.... But those are usually on mk1 model if you want to nit pick...
Edit.... Just read you have a 99...
go for it if the price is right.
Mesh style wheels like these look great on the Porsche...fits the sports car look very well...as for cleaning these types of wheels I've found a few things that help reduce the time to clean/dry:
1. Use RejeX 2-3 times per year which helps prevent brake dust from sticking
2. Use a very good wheel cleaning agent (I use Sonax which is expensive but very effective)
3. Use a combination of large and small wheel cleaning brushes...you need one small enough that can get between the spokes.
4. After washing, use an air compressor with a high flow blowgun...is effective in clearing the bolt areas and speeds the overall drying process.
I have the sport classic 11's on my 04 cab. Cleaning them is a cinch. Bought a battery powered detailing tool with several attachments at walmart for $12. It looks like an electric toothbrush. Takes no time at all. Best wheel detailing tool for these wheels.
I also have sport classic wheels on my cab and I think they are beautiful wheels. In fact, I'm looking for another set if anyone has a set. I acquired car a few months ago and so far these wheels are no more difficult to keep clean than many others I've had.
I have these wheels, and I think they are the best ones out! cleaning does suck, don't let anyone fool you..i just let mine get dirty..still looks better than those three spokes..haha
I use them as track wheels...a bit heavy but "strong like ox". I bought them used and they were painted polar silver. I think they look pretty good on my arctic silver car.
I haven't had to clean them yet..
Looks good don't it?
I've got PSS9 coilovers and H&R sway bars. Height-wise...yes of course it's lowered, but not to any specification per se.
Height of wheel openings are 25" at the front and 25.25" at the rear if that helps.
I do know that the chin clears the curbs at my workplace parking lot by about an eight of an inch - not exagerating. It's *that* close. Even an eight inch lower and my chin would be wrecked by now many times over.
