Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi guys,
Here is my Craigslist ad for my '02 C2, it's been a great car. Sorry the photos aren't that great but it was done in a hurry! Any advice on the ad would be appreciated - I know, I should have some shots of the interior.

good price, nice looking car, it should sell pretty fast. I wonder if you will get the 27.5 or less...
anyways about the ad:
1/ psm, pse...you might want to explain those to the non 996 guys
2/ interior shot for sure
3/ specify if you have any maintenance / paperwork
4/ may be buy the carfax, cost $10 and will show your good faith
5/ may be setup a page like flickr with tons of pics so you don't waste time answering stupid questions. I am always surprised to see 5 pics of a car for sale.
Good luck with the sale.
thanks for the kind words and feedback.
I've got all my paperwork but nothing prior - carfax was clean, but I dont' trust them so much
there's wiggle room on price too - just want to move it and have someone have some fun along the way
Car looks great. Not the best time of year to be selling a sports car, but anyone looking for a good car at a good price will very certainly be looking at yours.
The guards red is interesting...I have been avoiding red cars since my teen years but now that I'm almost grown up (b.1965) I sometimes think I might be ready for another red car.
Is it much of a heat score?
A
Not nearly enough pics.
Hi res pics with neutral background showing the car from straight on, from each side, from the rear. 3/4 shots from the front both sides and from the rear both sides.
The head on view should show the A/C condensors and that they are the same color. The openings should be free of any trash.
Take shots of the front trunk, underside of the trunk lid (to show the factory labels are still there). Shots of the engine compartment and engine cover lid. Show the spoiler down and up.
Show the spare tire, tool kit present and intact.
One each of the wheels/brakes. Show enough detail to make out tire brand, size, etc. and that the tires are in good shape.
One each of the driver's and passenger's seat.
Pic of the console. Pic of the dash. Be sure the odometer is on and legible. Pic of the center stack of the console to show heating/AC option, music/sound options, etc.
One each of the inside door surfaces.
Pic of the rear seats to show their condition.
Post CarFax report. May not be 100% dependable but you save the prospective buyer the trouble.
Post PDF of the car's original window sticker.
Mention recent services, like brake fluid flush/bleed, oil/filter service. Use the owners manual to state when the next services due. Ideally you want to show the next services are a year or more away and thousands of miles away. At least based on the owners manual servicing schedule.
List any work/repairs that have been done and which still have some (transferrable) warranty remaining.
You want to supply enough info that a prospective buyer feels he knows your car as well as you do from looking at the ad, pics.
Sincerely,
Macster.
Nice job selling fast, you could have made a couple more but it is a hassle.
How did the seller paid you ? I am always on the worry side so aside of seing the cashier check drawn in front of me I am a little worry.
I remember when I bought mine, the seller took my check and signed me the title but he had no way to know if that was freshly printed from my office deskjet or a real one.
my indy brokered the deal and vouched for the guy, so I assume the check portion will clear! there was also cash involved (dude was divorced and hiding cash from his ex)
