Gents - Can I mount set of Exhaust Turbo Tips on my 03 996 Targa ? I currently have the fabspeed exhaust. I just love the look of the turbo tips.

Fabspeed uses the OEM style tip as far as I know. So you can mount any aftermarket tip that fits with the factory mufflers as well. I looked into this for my own 996C2. So we ordered some and now have them on our site. http://store.vividracing.com/catalog...oducts_id=7763 The actual turbo model ones wont fit, but the have Turbo Style ones from Porsche that fit the Carrera.

RJ, The tips would look great on your car. Get 'em! Vivid, I was under the assumption that the turbo style tips would not fit 99-01 996s because the cut-out for the tips on the older bumpers were smaller. On your website you have tips for 99-04 996s.. Have you put these tips on your car? You have a pre-02, right?

FWIW, those tips are not interchangeable between the different models. Here are the part numbers: Turbo/GT2: 996.111.981/982.01 C4S: 996.111.981/982.03 Carrera ('02-on): 996.111.981.982.02

The turbo tips will not mount on the 996 C2. They do sell a similar setup for the 996 though.
