Hi, Given similar pricing, and the following data, which would you choose? 1997 993 Twin Turbo Coupe 2 Owners Well-cared for 33,000 miles Impeccable interior and clean exterior Has been tracked in PCA DE's, but not aggressively or 2002 996 Coupe (non-Turbo) 1 Owner 8,000 miles 4 years of extended Porsche warranty left Very clean No track, clean DME printout Which would you choose? That's a tough one to answer. The 993TT is probably the more "desirable" of the two. Warranty versus none, etc. What do you plan to do with it, drive daily with a bit of track or weekend/track/fun car? Montreal roads are even worse than Toronto so you're screwed either way.

It would come down to colors and options on each car if I couldn't decide. The turbo would be sweet though!

You can't go wrong either way, but the TT would be a no brainer for myself. Afterall, its the last of the aircooled era. I will say the 996 is a better choice for a daily driver, for a weekend toy stick with the TT.

Depending on if you want to use the additional power. 996 better as a daily driver. 993TT will cost you maintenance and repairs over the next 4 years, the 996 only maintenance. So the 993 TT could be quite a bit more expensive.

993TT for sure but in these days of heavy depreciation, making a buyers market, you could get a 996TT esp when the 997TT comes out people will be dropping their 996TT like flies :O
