Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

the window works but it doesn't drop either from the inside door handle, outside door handle or the lock, is it safe to assume it's the door lock actuator that took a ****?

POST 2Original post

There's three switches involved. half opening the internal handle should equal a drop half opening the external handle should equal a drop door open the window should remain dropped The first two are microswitches (on each handle) the second is within the actual door locking mechanism. If all three are not dropping... that to me, but I'm not 100% sure, sounds like window regulator might have stretched. So the drop that should occur is not happen as there's too much slack in the regulator. There is a PCA YT video on a 'hack' to take up the slack or you replace the regulator. see what others say found URL You Tube
