Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Those will need replacing much sooner on a higher mileage car.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am looking at a 2002 Red w/graphite full leather interior C2 cab that is offered at $65K. It is in immaculate condition.
It has the following options:
Full Leather w/soft leather seats
18" Carrera Wheels with colored wheel crests
PSM
PAS
CD changer/Bose
Advanced Technic package
Heated and electric seats w/memory
Flaired rocker panels
Stainless entry plates
aluminum gearshift, handbrake, instruments
Hardtop
Red Calipers
Bra
new N0 Michelin Pilot sports
32K miles, all maintenance history with an RMS, 1.5 years left on warranty.
Not a scratch
Does that sound like a good price?
not only is the price high but so are the miles. look around, take your time and you'll find better priced cars with much more attractive miles on it. i paid about that much for a car with 3700 miles on it in march and all of the options you listed with the exception of psm. i would suspsect prices have come down a little since march.
There is nothing wrong with the miles. It's just that for that price you should be able to get one with much lower miles. If that's the car you want then try to negotiate a lower price. Has it had new brakes or clutch? Those will need replacing much sooner on a higher mileage car.
The car sounds nice, but I think it is about $5K -$7K too high. Last December I found an '02 C4 Cab, 27K miles, original sticker $105K for $65K. If it's through a dealer, get them to certify it.
This one seems to have been driven normally. I have seen the brake pads and they are have about 2/3 of their lining left, and a non-abused clutch will last 100K+ on today's cars.
I guess I could offer $60-62K and see what happens. This was listed at $102K in March of 02
Does seem like a great car, but the price is certainly on the high side for a car with that many miles. Has the 30k service been done? Was clutch changed when RMS was done? How long ago was RMS?
The 30K was done, and at that time the RMS was changed out. The clutch plate measurement was slightly less than a new plate. The car seems in better shape than most I have seen with fewer miles. Kelly BB says that this car is under on miles, and is worth 71K. That is why I thought that 65K was a good price.
Kelly Blue Book isn't a good indicator of prices for a car like a 911. There should be lot's of cars available in the Bay Area. Do some research for other similiar cars for sale in the area and I would expect you might be able to find a few examples with lower asking prices. Print those out and show them to the seller so he knows you are doing your homework and negotiate him down a little. It sounds like you are already happy with the deal so if you can just save a little more you will feel that much better about it.
