According to the carnewal.com website, the X-74 is not available for pre '02. Best thing to do is send and email to [email removed] . He is pretty good at responding quickly.

i've been told the weight and chassis stiffness of post '01 cars is higher and the x74 offsets that. that said, the x74 should bolt onto a pre-'02 cars with out any problems. if i were to do it all over again, i'd put the x74 in my '00 c2 instead of the row m030.

I checked with Gert, and he echoed "fahren affair's" comments. It will work with pre-02 cars. main difference is slight weight difference and chassis rigidity. With that said, he also pointed out that no other coil-over mfg's differentiate between pre- and post-02, so why should x-74 really be any different. I think I will go x-74. Cheers

I would love to play with suspension upgrades, but... A. we don't have a track (yet) B. our roads suck and I honestly don't want the car to be any stiffer - it seems that it is a very nice balance stock when our roads are taken into account C. I truly think it would be a waste of $$ - I'm putting money into mechanicals instead. Any thoughts on upgrades? Someone told me that some of the upgrades will improve road handling as well as ride/feel. Is this true?
