Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just picked up a Millenium C4 with only 2k miles. My first Porsche. Love the car (except I don't need the Nav and the wheels aren't my favorites). Your board is very informative. Quick question - it is my understanding that the suspension on this car is lowered by the factory as one of the options, but I cannot determine exactlty what was done. Does anyone know? Also, what wheels would you recommend? Thanks

POST 2Original post

There is no factory lowering for cars sent to the US. The dealer may have installed the ROW(european) spring in the car which lower the car about 1/2 to 3/4 inch. You have to measure your fender to floor gap and compare it to another C4 for comparison. Stock height is usually about 26.5-26 inches.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks. The description I got from Edmunds on this car listed lowered suspension as one of the options it had.
