I have an '02 Targa - I've had it about 4 months, has 9,000 miles on it - had about 4,000 when I bought it. It came with Pirelli PZero's which are now down to the wear indicators in the back - the fronts are still like new. I"m looking for suggestions on what to replace them with. If I get rid of the PZero's on the back, do I have to get them off the front as well? Thanks in advance. Nick

Nick, As you probably know, these cars go through rear tires about twice as quickly as front ones. I like the P-Zeros, but there seems to be a slight preference overall for Michelin PS's. I would recommend you replace the rear tires with new P-Zeros. I don't think you want to mix brands, ideally. When the second set of rears wears out, you'll probably be ready for front tires also, and you can replace all four with whatever you want.

thanks for the info - yes, I was thinking I'd probably be sticking with the pZero's. How do you like your Targa? Mine is seal grey as well. Best car I've ever owned (not counting rear tires)

Nick, How about a set of Conti 's N2 Free with an extra set of Targa wheels mint. The wheels I have are 03 OEM 996 10 spoke Targa modular type. Take offs. in like new condition. Tires are Conti sportcontacts 2 Ns and also are in perfect condition and you can have them for free. They have factory balance . Less than 5kmi. 17x7 f offset 50 et 17x 9 R 55et this is late offset For yor and other cars I will include oem centercaps I will sell set up cheap.$1200 +shp Elliot
