I installed all the mods....the lighter was a problem...but with force and I didn't even break anything which is unique.

I replaced the piece above the instrument panel, from the cheap original looking one to the nice black one..same with the horse shoe....now waiting for a black middle consol and some carbon fiber accessories (around ignition, and hazard switch and seat heater switches) , so if anyone has this for sale (and I mean for sale...) let me know.

I bought a black front consol...the one where the airco/radio goes in...but have no idea how to replace it..any body any ideas?? Also bought the part that goes on top of the instrument part...but how to replace it.... I am replacing the kind of ugly grey'ish plastic (996 '99) for black....

Nic - Are you talking about just the "horse shoe" around the upper console or do you mean the "body" of the console? Can you post a pic of the part(s)?

thanks for replying...I figured it out...it is only the horse shoe..first I had to take the little frame around the airco unit and then everything became clear the only problem I now have is how to get the cigarette lighter unit out..... and how to replace the cover above the instument panel.....

I am cought by the mod fever...cold air intake is on it's way..and lowering the P is next.....my wife thinks I am crazy....but I think she is crazy spending thousands on jewelry....
