Before I take the seats out and check very connection, I thought I would check with fellow rennlisters to see if they have had this problem, and what the fix is.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have done some searching on this one, and my seat belt “ding ding” issue seems to be a little different. When driving every 90 – 120 seconds or so the seat belt warning chime goes “ding ding” (or at least it sounds very like that sound). Seat belt is on, and there is no dash light on the cluster that comes on. I don’t want to completely disable the audible warning (I’ve seen those threads), but I need to source the root cause of the problem to fix. Before I take the seats out and check very connection, I thought I would check with fellow rennlisters to see if they have had this problem, and what the fix is. Alternatively, if there is a thread / DIY that deals with this let me know. Thanks

POST 2Original post

Check your speed warning setting. Sounds like someone may have set it too slow. Read the manual you can turn it off.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Gentlemen, thanks. That seems to be it. I think I messed with it when detailing this past weekend. Wasn't even aware that was a feature. ..
