Well, a 50 degree and spring cleaning inspired me to remove the hardtop from my Cab....any temp above 35 degrees feels warm to me.

I was out running a few errands and wanted to put up the soft top and when I pressed the button, nothing happened, the light blinks on the dash, that's about it.

I made sure that the parking brake was on, etc. Is there anything I'm missing?

Renato, First does your brake light come on when the handbrake is engaged? If not, the sensor may not be sending the message to the convertible top control. Second, if the engine compartment lid is not all the way closed and/or the sensor for the engine compartment lid is not working, the convertible top will not operate. You must also have the key switched on, but you knew that already. Beyond that it's a call to your friendly dealer.

I think this might be what is happening to my car, everytime I lock it I get a chirp and my cab light is stuck on...what is the "bingo" in renato's response? this maybe what is wrong with mine.

Engine lid sensor. Make sure the ldis closed all the way latched and the sensor is working. Just see if you can lift it. It looks closed when unlatched.

Yea it's closed and the light pops up when opened and turns off when closed. I guess the chirp is from the after market stereo maybe. Shux I guess Ill have to just take her in
