Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I used the existing wiring for the doors and rear, splicing into the harness where the old amp used to be.
Leading evidence: 'Use existing wiring' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run pink noise through the system and measure each channel' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

When I did my speakers and amp I used Focal KP100 component speakers in the dash, which have crossovers that are mounted in the trunk so I had to run new wires to the dash as I needed two set for each side, mid and high.

For the rears I used Focal slimline which are coaxial and have their own filters.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The OEM amp has separate feeds for the dash, doors and rears. The doors are subs with only the low frequency feed. It is not adjustable like a true set of crossovers. For the dash and rears, which have speakers and tweeters the filtering of frequencies is done by resisters.
I guess to clarify, does the factory hifi amp have built in preset active crossovers for the various channels?
I believe you mean Capacitors as they filter low frequencies and Inductors filter high frequencies. I did not see any sort of external Passive filters going to the dash speakers.
I guess I can quit being so lazy and actually run pink noise through the system and measure each channel on an RTS.
OK, not a electrical engineer so my terminology may not be right. At the dash and rear speakers the wires go to the main speakers and then there are leads to the tweeters that have capacitors on them to limit the frequencies that go the the tweeters. As for the doors there are wires that go to the doors with only low frequency signals. So I guess that there are internal non-adjustable crossovers/filters in the amp. When I did my speakers and amp I used Focal KP100 component speakers in the dash, which have crossovers that are mounted in the trunk so I had to run new wires to the dash as I needed two set for each side, mid and high. For the rears I used Focal slimline which are coaxial and have their own filters. For the doors I used Focal 5WS, which are subs. I used a JL Audio 6450 6 channel amp. Ran two sets of RCA cables from the head unit (OEM) so that I could use the fader in the head unit. This amp has two channels for the dash, two for the rears, and the ability to blend the two low frequency/sub signals for the doors. I used the existing wiring for the doors and rear, splicing into the harness where the old amp used to be.
The crossovers you state are strictly passive crossovers for the tweeters themselves. I guess my question was whether the stock hifi amp had built in internal crossovers for the 4" dash woofers, say for example crossed over at 120hz at 12db/oct and maybe a separate one for the door crossovers that limited their upper frequency at the same 120hz or higher.
I guess I might have to run some tests this weekend...
