Rears: Inner clearance 15mm less and wheel will sit in arch by another 15mm so I would recommend a 15-20mm spacer.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hello guys, now my 2002 c4s is running 18" wheels with front 8" with 50 offset , the rear 11" with 45 offset. so my question is, are those wheels--- 8.5 x 18 ET 41mm 11 x 18 ET 60mm fit my car well or need spacers? or do not fit at all? thanks in advance. kent

POST 2Original post

Fronts: Inner clearance will be 3mm more but wheel will extend by 15mm more. See how you think this will look - should be OK Rears: Inner clearance 15mm less and wheel will sit in arch by another 15mm so I would recommend a 15-20mm spacer. If you puit a wider tyre on the front (235 say) remember to take the rolling radius into account for the 4WD with a matched rear (315) Hope this helps.

POST 3Original post

The front will be perfect and look fantastic in my opinion as they are only 1mm off the 8.5et40 of the GT3 wheel specs. The rears will definitely need as spacer as you have a wide body car where the optimal offset is in the high 30's to low 40's range. Porsche makes a 17mm spacer for the wide body cars for this very application. For example, the rear wheel on my Turbo is 11et63 so the 17mm spacer moves it out perfectly.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thanks 4C4GTS and Dell for the wheel offset 101, got it and now i know how to calculate the offset.coolll
