My baby is still in the shop (about two more weeks, they say) so I've been spending way too much time thinking about mods... I've got smoked side markers and I've de-ambered the headlights... I found a great place to get the silvered amber bulbs (autolumination.com) and made the mistake of exploring their website... and thought, hmm, how about some new headlight bulbs? That turned out to be a more complicated question than I anticipated... aside from making sure I had the right ones (which is easy enough to look up) there were choices on color: all weather yellow, white (6K), another white (8k) and something called "diamond blue"... okay... matter of taste... then the next choice was high or low voltage... what??? Anyway... I won't be able to hit up the wife for Litronics anytime soon, so I'm looking to just change the bulbs... Any recommendations or clarifications? Thanks, Rudy

Be carefull to not get bulbs that will run hotter or you will burn the insides. I've seen it done before and it looks horrible and has worse illumination once burnt. The only option then would be to replace the whole assembly. JIM

+1 heard that before too I have sylvania silverstars in my truck and I love them, in the P-car I just have standard issue bulbs...I dont actually drive it at night very often, so I am just going to leave them be till one burns out... then replace (with the silverstars I think)

Get any Kelvin color you want - just keep the same wattage. 55W I think for stock halogens and 35W I think for HID
