Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

1 of my red brake calipers paint is starting to come off, there seems to be a clear coat thats peeling of the red paint. All the other calipers are fine. Would they replace this under warrenty?

POST 2Original post

they should under the original warranty, if you're certified not likely. These aren't too difficult to respray if you decide to DIY

POST 3Original post

The paint started to come off of my Cayenne Calipers. They just replaced it under warranty. Never hurts to ask.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Great, thanks for the responses.

POST 5Original post

did you use yours in the winter? Wondering if it is salt related?

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I use it in winter but I keep my car and wheels including the calipers very clean. I don't let it sit with salt on it. There is a chip in the paint at the top edge of the caliper, probably the cause of the problem.
