Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The cool thing about the car is almost everything I have done to the car (PSS9, wheels, mufflers) I have found used here on rennlist!
Leading evidence: 'Use here' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use here' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. Last time I was at the stables I purchased my Zaino Products there what finish did they use on your car.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Well I got 996 back from the Stables where they detailed it and tinted the windows (awesome amount of cars there) and got the Fikse's on my 2002 996. So this is going to be the cleanest this car is ever going to be so I thought I would take a few photos. It is a big improvement from what it looked like when I purchased it a few months ago (last photo is the car coming off the trailer).
Looks like it's got the 99-01 exhaust tips on it, the 02+ tips fit the car much better IMO. While we're at it, I like the sideskirts, rear wing and the wheels, but not the front bumper.
Either way, certainly an improvement over the earlier shot. Enjoy.
Thanks guys! Black was not my first choice but I couldn't pass up on this car. I am just waiting on the Eibach sway bars to come in from Germany and this car is going to be done for awhile.
Good call in the tips! I didn't even notice them until now. I will look for something different. The bumper came on the car and I liked it but I am having such a hard time not dragging it on my drive way I may change it. I just raised the car a 1/4" and it helped but still a slight drag.
Not sure on the finish. I have known Mike since college and I did some driving instruction for him so he took care of me. They do great work!
Did you do the window tint for the look or because you're in Arizona and need the added protection from the sun? I assume that the a/c is up to the task even in Arizona.
I know with my car which is black also the air is luc warm when it hits my face especially in stop and go traffic and tinted windows is a must for me. My wife's Toyota has a nice feature I call it the crotch cooler which is a vent right in the area of ...you guessed it the crotch.
I've always hated window tint...then I moved to FL and now I'm considering have the car re-tinted after I took it off when I bought it. You can't leave the car parked anywhere, even with a windshield sunscreen in, without it getting really hot. I would imagine Arizona to be the same.
I got talked into the window tint (its was such a good deal I couldn't pass it up). I haven't parked the car outside yet so I can't tell you how much it has helped. I will say that when I drive it to work and it is outside it is brutal hot inside and I have a hard time shifting it because of the **** is so hot (I don't drive it to work much). I will say even when it is 115 out the AC blows super cold! In my 930 I never drove the car in the summer (it is like reverse winter here) but this 996 is great!
I like the look of the tint. I am not really a black car kind of guy but it is really growing on me. I can't wait to try out the heated seats here in 5 months :/ (god I can't wait till oct)
