Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'm run 295s on an 11 inch wide wheel on a narrow body.

I have run Vredestein 295/30/19 and currently on Hankook 305/30/19 and no rubbing with 11 inch wide rears.

I would keep them and replace the rears but the 275s are really stretched outward and there's nothing else makes an appropriate circumference.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

After a stressful week, barely getting new rubber in time for the weekend at the track, I was pretty certain that I should sell my rims and get something that fits the car better.
My rear street tires 275-30-19 (victor leMans) were too warn for the track (which I only found out on Wednesday, embarrassingly) and I struggled to get a reasonable, value tire shipped to Ottawa before close of business on Friday - to put on my OEM rims. There are no 285-30-18s anywhere in the city!
Anyway, I got some hankooks that fit my budget and will do for a while. But, the car is really missing something now that its back on the OEM 18"s. It really looks like the narrow-body that it is. The 19s really gave the car a signature.
My problem; there really isn't a tire size that works on the 996 for the 19x11 rears, especially not in the same brand/model to match the fronts. This left me convinced that I should sell the set and buy something more appropriate.
The front rubber has tons of life left in them. I could sell the set, but it seems that Falken 452 doesn't come in an appropriate size for a 997 either so it offers no value to a buyer. So my front rubber is a 'throw away'. I would keep them and replace the rears but the 275s are really stretched outward and there's nothing else makes an appropriate circumference.
arrhhgggg!

275-30-19 is too narrow and 3% too slow
295-30-19 is too big
295-25-19 is nearly perfect but not made in a Falcon 452 (if it exists at all), so I'd be buying a whole new set or rubber, and I'm not certain that 295 will fit on the narrow body when they're stretched out over the 11" width.
I have run Vredestein 295/30/19 and currently on Hankook 305/30/19 and no rubbing with 11 inch wide rears. I have a C2 cab riding on stock suspension components. no rubbing.
FWIW, you may want to look into rolling the fender/wheel wells
Those are huge tires. It adds 5-6% to the circumference.
And with the 305s on the rear, it really throws the aspect ratio with the front 225 tires. It would generate unanticipated understeer, no?
I'm new to all this....
