Just curious what settings and parameters (ride height, camber, and/or stiffness) you run with the suspension setup, be it on the track, road, or whatever.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a set of PSS10's installed on my 99' 996. About 25k miles on them. The car is for pleasure as well as occasional road trips and "spirited drives". Just curious what settings and parameters (ride height, camber, and/or stiffness) you run with the suspension setup, be it on the track, road, or whatever. GT2, GT3, Turbo, or other/custom? Or if you have other adjustable coilovers please chime in!

POST 2Original post

6f/4r (pss9)... 1f/1r for the track but dont mind it on the street.

Winter: F-3 / R-2 (Sway: F-softest / R-softest) Summer Daily/Spirited: F-6 / R-8 (Sway F-middle / R-stiffest) Summer High-Speed Track: F-9 / R-10 (Sway F-middle / R-stiffest) Summer "Tight" Track: F-8 / R-10 (Sway F-middle / R-stiffest) Height & Alignment = GT3 Street Specs (sorry, don't know them, but it was done by a GT3 "expert" tech) ...lowered about an inch. ...maximum settings without changing drop links, toe links, control arms, etc.

POST 6Original post

I am just getting use to my PSS9's on my 2000 C4. They are set mid way - 5 both front & rear. Ride height is 25" front and 25.5 rear to the fender center wheel lip. The low speed street ride is very firm on poor streets - but smooth and comfortable on the highway at speed. I just tried my first Autocross and found the C4 to be very stable in slalom transition and seemed well balanced frt/rear. My instructor commented on the firm yet compliant setup of the C4.

I get this alot at the track as well.... all of them with air cooled p-cars.

POST 8Original post

Full soft or full hard right now. The notches are not that easy to feel so can't screw that up on PSS9s until the lift is in place for more detailed adjustments.
