Suggestion

I think replacing shocks would have more impact on that "new feeling" as opposed to bushings.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My car works like it is new, look like new but it is already 7 years old and only 32k miles. Is there a list of 'consumable' parts that I could check to improve handling back to brand new condition ? Before getting into a full suspension upgrade, I was wondering if I could improve the handling with some cheap fixes. May be replacing bushing and things like that. Any ideas where I should look ?

POST 2Original post

I think replacing shocks would have more impact on that "new feeling" as opposed to bushings. However, the front upper strut mounts have been known to cause a squeaking/creaking. If you only have 32k miles, I'd suggest you worry about other things - like how to drive it more. Those aren't the original tires, are they?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anybody know if the pss10 comes with all the mounting stuff required to put them on ? like new bushing and all ? I don't want to install camber plate and stuff as I know some alignment shop won't touch it with those advanced Gizmo's on the car. PS: the tire have been replaced quite recently, they are Michelin PS2 and quite wide in the rear 295 I love the way the ps2 look. I tried a set of sumitomo, they are world apart !

POST 4Original post

Just get GT3 lower control arms if you want more camber. Also, consider ROW M030 if you just want to "freshen up" your car without investing in PSS10s and sways [ROW kit comes with everything, including sways]. This would be a great route if you don't track the car. -td
