I can hand paint a set like this but with a silver crest if anyone's interested.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have been looking for a silver center cap and the only ones I have found were from bumperplugs and cost around $450.
I saw that one on ebay and I liked it a lot. I think it looks much better then the OEM silver and black turbo center caps as this actaully has a raised chrome center.
Was curious if anyone ever purchased or has seen these?
I have similar ones on my 993 wheels - but they are full color. I have a feeling that the seller removed the color from his photo, as I've never seen these before.
Andreas
those look pretty junky, and look to be all plastic? My wife bought me some beautiful ones for about $350. Expensive, but they look fantastic and do not rattle in the opening.

I think I would pass on this one. 2 BIG RED Flags. Both are in bold.
The ones I have are colored - they look very bright and are the nicest I have seen in person. I got them from Grand Prix Performance on Newport Blvd in Costa Mesa.
Here you go.

Good luck
Thanks.
I really want to get the silver ones. I have a hard time justifying it though becuase my rims have 40K miles of wear and tear. I may actually check out these ebay ones and sometime down the road get the wheels restored and get the silver ones from bumperplugs.
Well I took a chance and picked these up. They arrived today.
They look really good. They dont look cheap by any means.
And I didnt even realize the OEM ones are plastice as well.
I would say these are probably better quality then the OEM.
Needless to say I am extremely happy I took a gamble.
While I would have liked red and chrome crest, I like saving $350 more

They were on ebay, the first post has link to the guys sale. Just look up the seller.
He doesnt have a buy-it-now but I emailed him and just paid him a total of $96 through paypal.
I was leary since at the time the guy had a 0 rating, and he was in Taiwan so my initial thought was I was just wasting money. Ine the end I was suprised and very happy. Also it took less than a week to get here.
Im sure its got to be a knock off but it says made in italy and has a part number (which I should have looked up before I put all 4 on the car). Either way its a really nice knock off.
My goal was get all silver crests (hood, steering wheel, rims) so this was perfect.
Now I just need to clean my rims so it matches better or get a thick coat of brakedust on the cap.
I liked these so much I was going to buy a 2nd set in case something ever happened to these but he is sold out already. He must have only had about 10 sets.
Im starting to wonder it these were knock off or maybe a batch of real ones that should have been colored and someone got ahold of them. I mean Ive never seen these anywhere and why would someone only have 10 sets???
Joel, I just saw your post that he's sold out now?!
Man, you shouldn't have told everybody here!
He probably bought them from another manufacturer over there.
Knock-offs are really sophisticated these days....
Porsche and VW really love to find these little outfits and sue them and shut them down, at least here in the US.
Well, let us know if you find another source for these, I do want a set....
