Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am at a total loss.....Under normal driving conditions the car runs great. As soon as you put the gas pedal to the floor, the car starts to accelerate, the turbos spool up and then once the car hits the 4-5 mark on the tach the car starts to hesitate, the check engine light starts to flash, and the acceleration isn't really there. Once you take your foot off the gas pedal, the check light goes away and the car is back to normal. I replaced all of the coil packs and the plugs, fuel fiter and air filter. I can't sem to figure this out. Has anyone seen anything like this????

POST 2Original post

You will get a much better and more accurate response to your question in the Turbo section dealing with the 996tt.

POST 3Original post

Sounds like the MAF to me. I'd bet a good amount on it!

POST 4Original post

Typically that is due to a misfire from worn out spark plugs. Replace them with Bosch FR6LDC's and it should go away. What year is the car and how many miles?
