Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I run the same size tires (R888s or R6) and indeed that is a great fit to get 9s up front.
Leading evidence: 'Run same size tires (r888s or r6) and indeed' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run same size tires (r888s or r6) and indeed' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. On the rear, ET 40 (40mm offset) wheels are for a wide body car - an ET 65 is what a narrow body car uses on the rear for a 10" wheel and ET 63 for an 11" wide wheel.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The factory stock GT3 wheels are:
Front:
8.5x18 et40
Rear:
11x18 et 63
I have been told that these work well on a C2 NB...Is my C4 also a NB?????
So
1. Is a 2002 C4 a NB?
2. Will the factory stock GT3 wheels (with the offsets above) fit?
Thanks
Jerry
I don't have the correct offset info in front of me but your question re is your '02 C4 NB? Yes, NB=narrow body. The C4S and TT are wide body.
If the wheels you're describing are stock GT3 wheels, then yes they should fit as the GT3 is a NB.
Cheers,
Stan
1. you have a C4, not C4s. C4s is a widebody. C4 is a narrow body.
2. GT3 wheel should fit but rear will stick out a bit more than stock. it won't rub in front though.
I have GT3 wheels on my 2002 C4 and they fit perfectly. Car is lowered approx 1.25". I added 14mm spacers (and longer bolts) to the front to dial out some of the under-steer (but it takes a lot more than that) and my 245s rub slightly on the inside only when you go lock to lock.
The GT3 after all IS a NB car.
4-Large: it looks like we have the same set-up, no?

I am running pss9 dropped all the way w/ CCW wheels 9" w/ 245 R6 front and 11" w/ 315 R6 rear, I also have a little rubbing in the front.... as for spacers, I do not need them the CCW wheels are all the way out front and rear (he did a nice job on set up)
The CCW is for the track.... my stock set up, still looks like and "RV", I prob. will get spacers or maybe another set of CCW????
Jerry
Jerry,
I have a Cross-JIC suspension, GT3 sways, etc. and use this car nearly exclusively for the track. Are those the CCWs in your avatar (they look like GT3 wheels)? I run the same size tires (R888s or R6) and indeed that is a great fit to get 9s up front. Do you know off hand what the wheels weigh and the precise offsets?
Scott
On the rear, ET 40 (40mm offset) wheels are for a wide body car - an ET 65 is what a narrow body car uses on the rear for a 10" wheel and ET 63 for an 11" wide wheel.
So, the wheels you're looking at are NB wheels.

The wheels you are looking at in the avatar are stock... These are the CCW
