Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
No check boxes for PSE, nor for the X73 sport suspension, nor for the extended warranty, but I guess we're just looking and kicking it around for now, anyway.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

UFO 007 ... I'm listening ...
Speed .... seeing your car like that makes me sick .... I watched your wheels get built and saw the pics after the intital install ... now .... well atleast you're 'ok'
Yeah. I did not know they were asking 68k for it. That is waaaaaaayyyyyyy too much for it. It is however a really beautiful car, and I think the C4S was the best looking 996.
'01 C4 w/75.5K. Engine replaced 300 miles ago. Seal Grey with plush grey interior. Schnell intake, Fabspeed Maxflo exhaust, B&M SSK, 18" turbo twist wheels with less thank 1K on the Azenis; also has stock 17" with all seasons. Lowered and front fenders rolled. Body and interior need some TLC but the car isn't in terrible shape for a 7 year old 75K mile car. Open to offers. Bank still owns a good portion of the car so title isn't in hand.
[edit] Car isn't without issues. Search my threads and you'll get the whole deal. I have nothing to hide with this car.
I might be selling my C4 and my car meets 5 out of 6 of your req's. Plus I may even be willing to deliver the car to you. I grew up about 45 minutes from South Bend.
UFO ... can you e-mail me pics of the interior and a list of the issues .... sounds like an interesting car
Tim ... .out of my price range but car looks awesome
99C2 ... if it's the Cabrio in your avatar it's a no go ... want a coupe
RAC ... details ???
Oh, boy. Tempting. I had given up on getting a GT3, and instead put GT3 seats, harness, and roll bar on my C4S. I might have to renew my membership, reinstall the OEM seats and remove the roll bar, and sell to Luke.
Aaaaaaaaugh!.
I knew I'd get in trouble again by coming back here.
Edit.
OK. I've made so many posts since coming back, I'm feeling guilty now that I'm not a member. So, I've rejoined. Now I'm really in trouble.
A 1999 C4, 64K miles, Paladio Metallic with black full supple leather, 6 speed, 18" wheels, power seats, Xenon, CD changer, heated seats and all maintained is up to date.

I thought I had already made up my mind, but I'm thinking again.
I just checked Edmunds for my car. 2002 C4S, Arctic Silver, Advanced technics package, CD changer, Power seats with memory, supple full leather. Small adjustment for silver color and metallic, moderate adjustment for mileage at 45,000 miles, tiny adjustment for regional location, 0 adjustment for clean condition. No check boxes for PSE, nor for the X73 sport suspension, nor for the extended warranty, but I guess we're just looking and kicking it around for now, anyway. TMV for trade-in, private retail and dealer retail are 38.9K, 42.3K, and 45.8K respectively.
Hmmm. Not quite sure I want to sell, and seems over 40K anyway. But, who knows. Just throwing it out there.

Does that mean that you''ve settled with insurance and are soon to be searching the marketplace again?
Hope you continue to mend quickly and can get back into a P car ASAP....
