Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've been a little quiet here but I really enjoy this forum and would like to start contributing. I've had some great recent experience with some parts transactions with Rennlist members and it's motivating me to become more active. It's a great Porsche community with lots of great people!
I thought I'd start with some recent pictures of my car and a description.

It's been a great car so far for me for almost 6 years. The only problem to speak of was the RMS replacement done under warranty.
My other cars are: 06 Volvo V70R, Sonic Blue with upgraded 18" Pegasus wheels and Michelin PS2's (fun family wagon) and an 03 Infiniti G35, Desert Platinum with Eiback Prokit springs and black powdercoated stock 17" wheels with new General Exclaim UHP's.
My wife wants a newer 750iL, I want a 997 GT3. We'll see who wins in a year or so.
Thanks for looking!

Everyone, thank you for all the welcoming comments! With the mods I've done, I'm really impressed with the car now. It's just super tight and feels very lightweight. I drove a brand new C4S on the track last summer and I loved it but I remember thinking that mine felt a lot lighter and a little "tighter" overall.
David A, I was thinking of the 5mm spacers. Since I installed the X74, the rear especially seems like it needs a wider stance. Thanks for reinforcing that idea. Do you recommend them on the front and back or just rear?
Benjamin, I wish I could have the seat backs painted but I've got 2 little kids and the plastic seat backs are always smeared up anyway and the plastic wipes up easy. I'm afraid the paint would get scratched.
Hwk72, I have tracked it twice but not yet with the X74 suspension setup. I'm on my 3rd suspension. First I had the US M030 (factory installed) then the ROW M030 and now the X74. I'm finally really happy with the handling.
This is my first 911 but 2nd P-car. I had a nice 88 944 Turbo S for 6 years. I loved that one too. I drove that 65,000 miles and sold it for just about what I paid for it!
Bring that beautiful beast out to the autocross next Sunday! I'd love to see how the x74 does, I've lusted after that setup for a while now. I've got a bone-stock 2003 996 C2.
Seriously, come help tear up the Qualcomm Stadium parking lot! February 10, Sunday, get more details here:

To see specifically about the a/x, click on Driving Events, Autocross, and you can get details. It's a lot of fun. We usually have 5-7 996 and 997 drivers, sure would be nice to get more! =)
Irksome, thanks I will try to get out there. I did the "other car autocross" in December with my Volvo V70R and had a blast. It's time to get the 911 out. I just got my magnetic numbers too so I'm all set. I would love to see how the X74 does too!
Ah, I missed the 'other car' autocross, but hit every points event since purchasing my car last March.
Hope to see you Sunday! If you are planning on attending, you can save $20 by pre-registering by tomorrow. Just get the form from the web, fill it in, and fax it in, and you won't need to stand in the line at the trailer!

Jason, nice to see you posting up. Great to see pics of your car! If you are thinking about running another track day, check out running with the POC group...they have a great program.
BK12, your car looks so good now with the stock rims and lowered suspension. Do you have any other pics you could send me? Did you get your X74 on yet?
