Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

We first ran the baseline, then we did the mufflers, then we did the mufflers and headers and got some good results.

When I test drove the car with the new muffers it was quite a bit louder than stock when you're on the throttle.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey guys...
Just finished testing some new Mufflers and Headers from
Agency Power
. We hooked up with Gary a local who had a bone stock 3.4L and did the tests.
We first ran the baseline, then we did the mufflers, then we did the mufflers and headers and got some good results. All tests were done with 3 runs each on our Mustang Dynamometer. Room temperature was about 85 degrees.
The mufflers and headers are 321 stainless steel fully polished. The mufflers fit with the factory tips or aftermarket ones as well as the stock or aftermarket cat pipes. Agency Power is releasing a High Flow cat pipe too!
Here are some pics of the parts installed on Gary's car as well as a sound clip.
Just a FYI on prices (First Shipment to be ready in 4 weeks) Headers are instock -
Headers - $1125
Mufflers w/o tips - $850
High Flow Catpipes - EMAIL

My car was the test mule for this new exhaust. It was a very fun day! I wasn't even shopping for a new exhaust but I liked the new mufflers so much I bought them from Dan. Dan runs a 1st rate shop. He and his partner are all business (though I got him to admit they have a lot of fun too).
Here's a video of my car with the new mufflers:

Turn up the sound and enjoy.
If you haven't read it in other threads already, I *highly* suggest you hear the exhausts in person. Soundclips, although good, do not really do any exhaust real justice. YMMV
I agree. The popping sound I hear in the download is not coming from the muffler. I could email the original mpeg4 file to anyone interested. Or if you're here in town, you could check it out live.
Is there any benefit of the AP exhaust over the Fabspeed exhaust? They are both in the same price range correct? Sound, horsepower, weight? Any differences?
I'll answer best I can. I had stock mufflers on the car 3 1/2 years. There was minimal exhaust noise - a little purr. I liked it because you could hear the gearbox/final drive whine which I thought was cool. I wasn't even looking to change my exhaust when I heard about Dan's test offer. When I test drove the car with the new muffers it was quite a bit louder than stock when you're on the throttle. At idle or when coasting it isn't loud at all. On the freeway, 6th gear, 3KRPM, there's a slightly louder drone than stock. I got used to it in about 3 days and now I love it - and I gained at least 10hp.
I've only heard straight pipes on a cup car at the race track. That was ear shattering. There's no way the Agency Power mufflers are that loud.
Aaron since you're in Phoenix, if you're considering upgrading your exhaust, send me a PM and we could arrange for you to check it out live. The only better offer you'd ever get is the one I got from Dan - before and after dynos - and that test is done!
Great to see a good honest dyno on an exhaust system which shows the difference with the mufflers vs stock vs complete system. Good job Dan. 911mz the 3.6L engines respond not very well to ecu mods. On most exhuast system I would expect similar results. The 3.6L exhuast has a little more sound, but is pretty restrictive.
