There are quite a large amount of dealers in that area on Ventura blvd and they seem to have just about the best all around collection of used cars (BMW's, Jags, Porsche's, MB's,Audi's,Land Rover's,etc) of any dealer that I have seen there in the Valley at "very excellent" prices.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm interested in a 911 for sale at Sports Trend Auto. My first impression with the salesman is good and they seem to have high quality cars. Does anybody have any experience with this dealer?
I've never been there, but I know they have a good inventory of P-cars - I thought about visiting to check out a Targa and C4S they had. Let us know how it goes...
Don't know of them, but considering where you live, you may want to drive by the Auto Gallery in Woodland Hills - I had a good experience with them when I bought my car - ask for John George, the sales manager for the best service. Even if you go with Sports Trend, you'll be able to compare prices to what an authorized Porsche dealer has to offer.
I have bought from them before (about 5 yrs ago), very satisfied. I have also been in and out of there atleast 50 times in the last 8 yrs checking out their cars. They tend to get some very nice, clean cars. I have three or four friends who have also purchased from them within the last few years and have all been satisfied. Only one had a problem with his car a couple of weeks later, and they rectified the problem. Also, as "BlackCab996" stated, The Auto Gallery has some pretty awsome exotics (Ferrari,Mazererati,Porsche) but they are more pricey. eventhough, these cars are about as highline as they come, and, they are a "main" dealer, which is an advantage.
I have walked by Sports Trend Auto on the way to work many times, and they always have at least ten Porsches. I have never spoken to anyone there, but they're right across the street from Speed Gallery which is an independant mechanic specializing in Porsche. They may be affiliated. I would ask them.
eichlerman - I looked at their website (
www.sportstrendautosales.com)
. Their selection looks good, but it depends on how flexible their listed prices are. I know that all pre-owned cars are listed at higher than what they will sell for, but you'll have to find out from them how much they will haggle. During my exhaustive search for a Porsche, I found a number of cars that could be purchased under CPO warranty for the same, or a decent amount less than, many of their listed prices. PM me if you want to touch base via the phone and I'll share my LA based shopping experiences with you.
Auto Gallery... don't get me started with those pompous, overbearing, underwhelming, overpriced (how many more adjectives do we have time for?) bozos. Bleeechh.
cool, atleast it's not just me that had an extreeeeeeeeemely bad experience there... i generally dont like to slam anyone, but the sales people i dealt with there just suck, and are stupidly overpriced... as for sport trend, i bought my car there, they have been pretty good to me, so i'd give them a call if they have the car you want.
