Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The suspension has been changed since then, now it's running with H&R coilovers so it's a whee bit lower then the pictures show.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Driving around town today, I stopped at a light when another 996 pulled up next to me - looked just like my car (a 2003 C4S) but something didn't look right... I let him pull ahead and was shocked to see that it was a C4S - but with some kind of aerokit and a taco wing!!
I'll be honest, it didn't look right to me, like seeing a full beard on a hot chick in a bikini (not that I've ever seen this, just saying).
Well, this is my car and it came with this from the factory. The C4S has the same aerokit as the turbo as far as I can tell. It's not a taco wing per se though, but it's the c4s aerokit
.
Nyegaard you have the best looking C4S I've ever seen (my opinion of course). I didn't know that there was a factory aero wing for our cars but it looks really kick *** on yours. Now I just need to find the part number for it
What suspension are you running by the way?
precision porsche make a replica of an aero wing for c4s

I just bought one and its waing to be painted
wow I really really like that one!!
Wish I would've know about it before putting this pain in the @ss turbo decklid with over-sized CF wing... don't get me wrong I love the way my ride looks with it but I would have gone with your wing instead!
Very nice!
Hehe thanks
.
The picture is from the seller, I picked up the car just a month ago now, and it's not 100% accurate compared to how she is today.

The C4S with aero kit is not a very common sight. I kind of like it

2007 Gt3 wing on a 99' C2... Had to do a lot of Mod to the shape to get it to fit perfectly... It does cover about an inch of the taillights, but luckily it matches the lines on the aftermarket LED's
Love the look of these wings! So...I'll ask the stupid question since it always works for me in a professional environment :-) What happens to the motorized rear spoiler with the bolt on fin in place? Does it clear it and it functions as normal? Does it get disabled? 6 weeks into ownership of my car and learning a ton!
Thanks!
You remove the metal engine cover and replace with a new fiberglass or composite engine cover and wing assembly. You also require a wiring harness specific to this set-up. Your next two options are sell the OEM engine cover with integrated wing or store it somewhere in your garage.
Have you guys gone to the Porsche site and built your own car? I just did and it was a C4S Aerokit. Just stunning. Going there also gives great insite to the options.
