This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just changed my suspension and waited about 100 miles to settle. So it is time for alignment. I read that there is a sensor (perhaps steering angle) that needs to be calibrated after such work and requires dealer computer to do so. My car does not have any warning lights on, PSM is not acting up etc. do i really need to go to dealer or can I take it to the same guys my indy (storz garage) uses, which is Paris Tire and alignment on leatsdale. Also I put RoW M030 on my C4S, shoud this car now be aligned to Row specs? thanks

POST 2Original post

personally I would take it to a porsche indy like Eurosprt Ltd. in Englewood (ask for Greg). They can do alignment, corner balance and and calibration or code resets. If you prefer dealer, go to Chance at Stevinson.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

thank you. Just made my apointment at Stevinson. THis week they sent a free full detail (including 3 stage wax etc) coupon so why not get an alignment there as well. Thanks for the suggestion.

POST 6Original post

Chance knows me...wross, bill or by my user name.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the recommendation. Met Chance this morning. Seems like a grey guy an very competent mechanic. He has my car right now.
