Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I test drove a few and then went and drove a Mazda RX-8 and it felt bland.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

23 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I traded off my 05 Cayenne S for a 2000 c2 cab. I look forward to learning from you all.

POST 4Original post

I'd rather have a Miata cab than any SUV. You did well!

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Baby steps. First I got my wife to like to Cayenne and then convinced her that the C2 was needed to save gas.

POST 7Original post

Did a very similar thing, 05 Cayenne S sold at Christmas, and a 03 C4S in the shed. Purely as a fuel consumption reduction exercise of course. How you liking it so far?

POST 8Original post

More pictures taken outside that garage please.

POST 9Original post

Congratulations and welcome! Sounds like another guy with a great wife. Glad to see it's a cab, you can still use it for those runs to the home improvement store. And don't worry, no matter how far from the store you park it, you are sure to find a mini van parked next to it.

POST 10Original post

Very Nice. What kind of wheels, they dont look like turbo twists from that angle ? Gotta like the nice wives...I got "permission" for Christmas, got my p-car in January, and now a Fister D is on the way for father's day...life is good.

POST 11Original post

Congrats and welcome. I like the Cayenne to Carrera approach. Our Cayenne was my DD for a while. I like driving the Carrera better!

POST 12Original post

WATCH OUT! That box is about ready to fall on your new Pcar!!!! Welcome!

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just couldn't believe how great the driving experience was. I test drove a few and then went and drove a Mazda RX-8 and it felt bland. Granted it was an auto so that dampens the party a bit. The wife wanted a Tiptronic so she would drive it more but I just "couldn't" find one.

POST 14Original post

Welcome! Enjoy the 996, way better than a cayenne.

POST 15Original post

Nice cab. I did the same thing Cayenne to 996 also.

POST 16Original post

If you post pics of your wife you get bonus points. Just sayin....

This actually makes me like Cayennes better, as they appear to be a "gate-way drug"

Unless you need to haul a couple of dogs... then I'll take the Cayenne!

Artic silver on black, original pumpkins, slight differance on the wheels, ref:- the red writing above. Maybe a good thing haha. The devil himself made me say that.

POST 21Original post

Now you can worry about IMS failure instead of coolant pipe failure.

POST 22Original post

You do know she (wifey) let you have it, its gonna cost you plenty one day....

POST 23 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Planning on the ims guardian. I had the coolant pipes go out on my cayenne one month after I got her.
