I know that reenlist member "T2" uses his 996 TT as his daily driver.

I use my TT as a daily driver, it has been as cheap if not cheaper to run as my old E46 M3.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Curious if there are any Rennlist folks who have a 996 TT as their daily driver? I am loving my 2004 4S cab but have been potentially offered a way to upgrade to a 2004 TT Cab - a bit worried its to much car for a DD.
Any thoughts?
You might be better asking the TT crowd. But personally, I think it would be fine as a DD, the only P cars I wouldnt use as a DD would be a CGT or GT3RS etc.
I have an excellent route to work - pretty much designed for a P car - moving up probably involves selling my 84 carrera as well as my CS4 but it surely is tempting
I drive mine any chance I get. (Street and Track)
The exhaust is actually quiet. Seats are comfortable, It is civilized on the street and it looks great. When you want to have a little fun just push the vertical pedal on the right.
Just as with any Porsche, be careful of exhaust upgrades...as they tend to make the cabin much louder. Stock suspension is soft and comfortable for the road. So if it has been changed - make sure it is still civilized and/or adjustable.
I upgraded the radio and nav - as that is out of date. I went to a 2 DIN Kenwood DNX-9600. Nav, BT, XM all the goodies in one system.
If the front spoiler keeps scraping on everything - buy a C4S spoiler (in photo below). It is cheap and buys you another inch of clearance.
