Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

parked at a friends place for a few hours. did my best to park in a good spot on the street. end of the line with lots of room for parking in front of me.
Damage to front bumper, holed right in the center, some scrapes on either side of that and a nice rub on the hood....
I knew it would happen some day, at least she left a number..
No, don't know if she's cute... yet.
Looks like my front end will get sprayed sooner rather then later, a good thing.
I can see it now. She's pretty and takes you by a paint shop that looks all fancy with great cars shining away. You talk to the shop and figure what a great deal. Come time to pick up the car everything at the shop has disappeared along with your car
Oh well be careful.
Ya, that really sucks! Kind of like my situation last night.... I walk out of the venue I was in, to see a guy TRYING to parallel park and he scratches the left side of my rear bumper.
My bumper was due for a good spray, but still.....
In 2 hours I have to go get a quote!
LOL
my suburban got hit a few weeks back... I said dont worry, the bumper was pushed in a bit,.... they filed a claim so I went and picked up a $2k check which I told them I wasnt going to get the truck fixed...
woohoooo GOOD BEER this week!
thanks everyone...
not the worst thing that could happen for sure, but just the hassle and all.
glad I could vent some, already filed a claim and will be making a appointment for the estimate today.
I'm sure you freshly repainted front bumper and hood will look better than it did before. It's a good excuse to get the re-spray done now! Glad to hear she left a note.
any accidents previously on the VIN no.?
If not and you claim it on the guys insurance, there will be. In that case I would seriously look up "Diminished Value" on here before agreeing to any "final settlement". Its a pretty big deal (ask me how I know)
snapped a couple of pics for posterity.
whats the consensus on replacing the bumper? should that be something I insist on? worried if they fill it that cracking may occur.
pics show just how much the front end has been pitted, little white freckles....
I know the front plate sucks, but it's the law and the hassle is not needed.
the car that hit me was a Suzuki XL7 thing, little SUV, thats why the damage is above the plate. must have a trailer hitch too.
