Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello everyone, Last year, I bought a set of wheel locking bolts, 00004460285. I believe they are from a German manufacturer. I fitted the set to my 996 Turbo and shortly afterwards lost the security key. Unfortunately, I did not make a note of the code. I have already contacted two Porsche dealers here in Portugal, but they do not know how to proceed. They only offer destructive removal of the bolts, which carries the risk of damaging the wheels. In the USA, it is possible to order a key from Porsche based on a photo of the bolts; see the attached US bulletin. However, dealers in Portugal do not offer this option. So my question is: does anyone know who the manufacturer of these bolts is, so that I can contact them directly? I have already contacted McGard, but they told me that they do not manufacture these bolts.
