Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I would be changing all of the vacumn and fuel lines along with any rubber bellows that look suspect.

If exhaust system hangers/sleeve seals corroded replacing those too.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

can be done with engine in car.
If engine does have to come out then hoses/vacuum lines could come in for renewal.
Of course any oil or fluid leaks could be addressed.
Clutch (if of course manual tranny). Even if clutch ok cleaning and relubing with proper grease all of the clutch hardware pivot points, input shaft spline, maybe even fitting a new pilot bearing wouldn't be a bad idea.
If exhaust system hangers/sleeve seals corroded replacing those too.
Just a good intelligent and experienced inspection of the engine and compartment and any other hardware removed or easily accessible while engine out and replacing or at least servicing anything that needed it would be a good idea.
Not up on mods. If you have a cold air intake or new exhaust system to fit well now would be the time.
Sincerely,
Macster.
Rear main seal and Intermediate shaft bolt upgrade if not done already. Motor mounts ...maybe? Clutch I would do because you have it out, 20-30 K from now it will be out again for the clutch if you don't.
Good luck.
