Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Not perfect for either situation, but great if (like me) you're too lazy to change pads for the track.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

What's the best source (price/OE) to order brake pads? Don't need them yet, but I'm heading to visit my brother in the US in a few weeks and I thought I'd get a jump on building up my parts inventory before spring.
Phil, i got mine from Suncoast after that day at Mosport... Had it shipped to my friend NYC then he bought them over a week later... Make sure you get the Sensors also

While you at it, get the GT3 Brake Ducts...
PS: They want $30 Per Sensor over here...
I have some brake parts kicking around also from my summer brake replacement. I bought extra because suncoast is really good at hiding all the parts and I did not find them until I tore up all the boxes.. PM me and I will tell you what I have.
Sunset Porsche rear pads (OEM Textar) for my '02 C4S were $120.57 + $11 shipping to Dallas
I haven't decided on these because I'm looking for Mintex Red Box, but cant find them for my model.
If you're thinking the Hawk pad route, another good option is Carbotech (

) . If you call them and tell them the type of driving you'll be doing, they can recommend the right compound for your needs.
+1 on RaceShopper.com! FWIW, I think the Ferodo DS2500 pads are the ideal street/track combo pad. Not perfect for either situation, but great if (like me) you're too lazy to change pads for the track.
Just because they don't have them doesn't mean they can't make them. I know with at least Carbotech, you can just send them an old set and they can just cut them for you bases on that sample. I've used both Hawk and Carbotech and prefer the Carbotech - they're definately more rotar friendly. Gesh, you'd think I work for them or something. LOL (I have no affiliation with them.)
