Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

I think their initial testing concluded that since there were gaps between the bars on the "pedestrian pusher" it allowed enough air flow to keep the car stable at speed.

They use that same camouflaging technique for the rear of most of the test mules.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Have you seen these? It looks like a longer wheelbase (hard to tell), but also the rear ugly hump of the cabriolet is gone. The roofline of the the cabriolet seems to follow the lines of the coupe much better. what do u think? http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/Secret-...yshots-230109/

POST 2Original post

I hate the pedestrian safety laws. The nose is obviously taller and less attractive. Sigh.

POST 3Original post

I like it...and the fact that it's playing in the snow.

Here is an early version of the "pedestrian safety compliance" solution that Porsche tested out on a 996. If fitted on a 997, painting it the same color as the car would, of course, be optional!

POST 5Original post

Uh oh, I don't think this is very promising. Hopefully that rear is very heavily camouflaged.

POST 6Original post

who cares about pestrians (yes deliberately ) I got a point system...the younger the more points because they are faster (JUST KIDDING!!!) it is kind of good that cars become safer, since everytime someone gets hit by a car it is kind of a wast of a humans life!

We really have to get you into another Porsche soon

POST 8Original post

Tim, that doesnt look aero-dynamically sound... it needs a rear wing. What was Porsche thinking.

Yeah, I've got waaaayyy too much time on my hands. Let's work on getting me a well paying job first and then I'll be able to the Porsche. I think their initial testing concluded that since there were gaps between the bars on the "pedestrian pusher" it allowed enough air flow to keep the car stable at speed. The engineers also reported that the front end no longer feels "floaty" at speed.

Cant argue with that plan! good luck!

They use that same camouflaging technique for the rear of most of the test mules. The early Panamera had a similar rear-end look on it.

POST 12Original post

I hope there's a lot of camouflage on it... From the broadside, it looked a little Mitsubishi-Eclips-ish... (Are blasphemers still stoned to death???) Rudy ---------------------------- '01 Arctic Silver/Black C2 Cabriolet '03 Silver F-150 Supercrew

POST 14Original post

and from the rear like a Z4. Hopefully all camouflage..........

POST 15Original post

There needs to be room under the camouflage for the spoiler to raise.
