Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1Qvd...layer_embedded http://www.motorauthority.com/porsch...d-911-gt3.html no mention of PDK or DFI .... wtf?

POST 2Original post

I guess I can understand not offering the PDK transmission, but the lack of direct injection is a bit curious.

yup... I really like these wheels as well.

POST 7Original post

That rear looks terrible. Still prefer the current 997.

Its funny how Porsche works... the 997.1 gt3 mimics the taco 996.1 gt3 while 997.2 gt3 mimics the ironing board 996.2 gt3. They seem to have this design concept way in advance.

POST 10Original post

Agreed I've noticed that trend too.

I agree. However, I think the MK1 996's wing is the most fluid and probably will never be matched by another design. The MK2 996's ironing board is the most unattractive one of all. In the order of attractiveness, I would go as the following IMHO: 1. MK1 996 2. MK2 997 3. MK1 997 4. MK2 996 You can move #2 and 3 around..

POST 12Original post

Pretty tuff to change your own wheels. I think the mkI has a nicer front but I like the wing and dislike the tail light shape 3.8 and the wing is somewhat tacky and outdated.

I'd have to agree but I'm a bit biased on your first statement. I think the MK I 997 is a close second to the MK I 996 wing in order of attractiveness.
