Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

As many of you may or may not have known a fellow enthusiast and friend has passed away yesterday. This news was passed on Pelican Parts forums, 6-speed, Rennlist and a few other Ferrari boards.
I know that at times I can keep to one forum group and that information might not make its way all around so this is a thread to keep the 996ers informed on what tragedy has taken place.
Those of us who know him or those who had the opportunity to chat with him online will miss Ben. Our prayers go out to him and his family as well as the friends and family members to the passenger who also passed in the accident.

This is truly a sad, sad event. Ben was a great guy...he will be sorely missed by us, but pales in comparison to what his family is going through. My thoughts and prayers are with them and all of us... RIP Ben.
I continue to be shocked by this news. I never had the honor of meeting Ben in person. But from his posts in this forum I know he was an outstanding gentleman and enthusiast.
I will keep him and Corey, their families and loved ones in my thoughts and prayers.
Thanks for posting this Eli. I saw this earlier in the day in the off topic forum and at the time I really didn't realize how many of Ben's posts I'd read and enjoyed. We've lost a special member.
RIP
Although I have never met Ben in person, I always enjoyed his posts and comments on 6speed. My prayes wil be with the families with those who lives were lost yesterday.
RIP Ben
I believe Thomas is coordinating a vigil for Ben at CC, please check 6speedonline for details. I am sure I can speak for us East Coasters that we will be ther in spirit.
Yes, this was a real loss.... Ben was the kind of guy who would gladly give you the ride of your life just for the asking...... I think he enjoyed being a part of a mement you would never forget as you were forced into the back seat of his CGT. Having sat down at the same table to eat breakfast with him and a few other of the fellows last Saturday 5-30-2005 "hits closer to home"..... I still can't believe it's true "WHY" is what I keep asking myself......
-Eli
Condolences to his family and friends.
Although i didn't know him personally, he seemed like a really nice guy and always had something helpful or interesting to say on the forums.
Godspeed Ben.
This is very sad. Robyn - I want to compliment you on your "In Memoriam" tribute to Ben; very thoughtful, caring and in good taste. While I did not know Ben personally, we are all members of this wonderful Rennlist/Porsche community and my sympathies go out to his family. I hope they are somewhat comforted by the fact that he was doing something he loved, something we all love. Let's keep Ben in our thoughts and prayers and, please, be careful out there..........

This is horrible
Really enjoyed his conversations and input on the boards. Didn't realize how much sadness I would feel toward losing a fellow enthusiast I never met. That's why these boards are so great. Just look at the outpouring he is receiving here.
RIP Ben....you'll be missed.
