Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

If you haven't done so yet, I recommend joining the PCA, and scout around the various regions for their events.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Well, it finally happened over the Memorial Day weekend.... I now have my 996 in SoCal. I'm interested in track events and P-Car gatherings. Anyone aware of any events coming up soon?
Also, anyone have any reco's for a hand car wash and/or detail shop? The guys @ Berverly Hills Porsche recommend Detail Pro off Santa Monica and the 405. Anyone have any experience with them?
If you want to take a nice drive, this Saturday morning (06/04) the Santa Barbara region of the PCA has their monthly breakfast at the Waypoint cafe at the Camarillo airport. We are allowed in to park on the edge of the tarmac and usually get 70-80 cars and about 100 people. You could have a nice ride on PCH going or returning. It oficially starts at 9, but if you want a good spot, I would be there by 8:30.
When I can't get to washing/detailing my car myself, the only hand wash and detail place I will take my car to is the one in Malibu in the Cross Creek shopping center at PCH. They do a fantastic job, all by hand - and there are always many Bentleys, Aston Martins, Porsches, etc. there to assure me and check out.
Ditto on the PCA-Santa Barbara breakfasts the 1st Saturday of every month at the Waypoint cafe in the Camarillo airport. I went there this morning to find dozens of P-cars. From beautifully restored 550 Spyders to a Carrera GT. BTW next June 12th is the PCA-LA region Concours in Marina del Rey @ the Burton Chace Park. I'll be entering my 40th Anniversary there for it's 1st judging. If you haven't done so yet, I recommend joining the PCA, and scout around the various regions for their events. The PCA-LA region doesn't organize much stuff. But the Santa Barbara and San Diego regions are quite active. Last memorial weekend the PCA-SBR organized a tour around Sequoia National Forest, and we had a blast driving through backroads for 2 days.
