Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

All the pinions seem to be right, but have to be checked more carefully
Leading evidence: 'Check more carefully' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check more carefully' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.

I've found used transmission which im going to buy and put in place.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My 99 c2 is making very noticable noise when gas pedal is pressed. I thought it was normal air intake sound (sounds like air taking in), but it cant be, because its way too loud.
noise comes when you just touch gas pedal or keep it down. Not while in free gear, or when clutch pressed down.
Car has now transmission oils taken out and there is lots silverish grease in the drain plug area around the magnet
Any other thoughts? Thanks
what was the video supposed to help me with?
1. wear gloves
2. dont put your greasy fingers all over the flywheel (esp when you claim its still good)
3. drop heavy objects on metal tables when recording is pretty loud
did I get it right?
IMO you have a bearing (maybe pinion) going...when the bearing allows move movement it causes the gears to rub more or less than before making funny noises. Have a shop test drive it.. My shop would be happy to offer an eval and since most people dont service their own transmissions I would guess any issues found will be serviced by a shop...so have them look, listen and tell you what they think....much better than us guessing based on some video that I dont think is even your car?
Thanks for the input. Sorry for hesitating with this issue. Just wanted to ask if anyone has had same kind of issue.
The video is not from my car. The only reason I put it up is that theres exactly same kind of silverish grease in my transmission and don't know if its normal or not. Just an example to show what kind of stuff it is.
My car is currently at service shop and now over the weekend I've been trying to find the solution myself. I don't have any Porsche specialists nearby (200miles). The guy that helps me out isn't porsche specialist, but still a very good professional. I always want to get 2nd opinion and find out as much as I can about issue.
Ok. Transmission was disassembled today and facts seems to be that main bearing is damaged. Silverish grease is from inside the bearing. Ive found that theres some heat issues with transmission high temperatures which causes the grease to melt and cause failure of bearing.
These things were found:
- some metal particles nearby the magnet and outside it
- silverish grease with metal ships
- rubber from main bearing
All the pinions seem to be right, but have to be checked more carefully
If you have any other thoughts then let me. I've found used transmission which im going to buy and put in place. This transmission needs lots of work to be done before its ok and that cost €€€?
